Weekend Links

I took this photo with my arms outstretched and the camera looking down – not quite the same as what one of the links this week talks about, but still without looking through the viewfinder.
It has been a busy week for me (I guess they always are) – but this one included a sleep study. Do you know how much harder it is to fall asleep when you’re under the pressure of having to fall asleep so that they can record all your brain waves and breathing patterns? It’s hard!

- I love macro photography. But without any extension tubes or macro lenses of my own, I’ll have to setting at looking at these 40 remarkable examples of macro photography instead of taking my own.
- A week or so ago, I talked about photographing flowers. And then DPS happened to tweet about their how to photograph flowers article – great timing! (they’re at @digitalps, in case you didn’t know)
- Ronan Palliser posted an interesting take on a cake-cutting photo, and then gave some tips on taking photos when you’re raising your camera above you head instead of looking through the viewfinder.
