Project 366 - Day 34
I trusted my point-and-shoot for this photo. And this is probably relatively SOOC, as I know I didn’t even use Gimp at the time, either, though I do remember cropping it.

  • Autumn is right around the corner – check out DPS’s article on how to capture the colors of autumn.
  • Speaking of summer being over, Photodoto recognizes that’s often an excuse for us to put down our cameras. Instead, they suggest some quick tips on how to brush up your skills during this “down time”.
  • I don’t know about you, but I suck at taking panning photos – where you follow a moving object like a car and keep it sharp and blur the background as you move. DIY Photography has some suggestions on how to create panning photos without moving your camera that should help!
  • Did you know that Photojojo came out with a book? Exciting!
  • Ronan Palliser posted a great entry this week about how you sometimes just need to trust your camera (even point-and-shoots) and stop over-thinking things.
  • Later on in the week, Ronan gave some hints on what to do (and what not to do) to try to capture photos of bees and butterflies in flight.
  • Epic Edits is doing a new project – they’re giving all their readers an opportunity to edit the same photo and see what they come up with. If you’re interested in flexing your post-processing skills, check out this entry.

Just a warning, too, that it looks like we’ll finally be able to take our vacation this week, assuming the last lingering bits of my cold go away soon. Which means there might be a lack of posts this week. I’ll be back, though, I promise :)
